Day Six

Day 6 - Katie

We went through the sculptor gardens. Then we went to the National Archives and waited in the freezing weather for 1 hour. Then we went saw the Bill of Rights, the Constitution of the United States, and the Declaration of Independence. Then we went to the Nattonal American Indian Museum. We went to the Library of Congress and we saw a lot of artifacts.

Day 6 - Ethan

I got to make a national seal at the National Archives. I got to skate board at the National American Indian Museum.  I saw the Declaration of Independence.

Day Five

Day 5 - Katie

First we went to Ford's Theater. Then we went to the Peterson House. Then we went to the Spy Museum, and did you know that famous people where spys? I learned that President Eisenhower put "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Day 5 - Ethan

I saw Ford's Theater. I saw spys.

Day Four

Day 4 - Katie

We went to the Museum of American History. We saw the rest of the Air and Space Museum. We went to the place we are staying at, when we went on the Metro, it stopped completely.

I saw Kermit the Frog. I saw Amelia Earhart.

Day Three

Day 3 - By Katie

We went to the Washington Monument, the WWII Memorial and the Lincoln Monument. We went to the Arlington Cemetery and saw the SeaBee Memorial. We saw the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We saw the Eternal Flame where JFK is buried. Then we went to the National Art Museum and saw a Van Gogh panting. Then we went to the Vietnam Wall and the Korean War Memorial. My favorite part was the Art Museum and seeing the paintings.


Day 3 - By Ethan

I saw the  Abraham Lincoln Monument. I saw the Washington Monument.I saw the Art Museum.I saw the Vietnam Wall. That was my favorite.

Day Two

Day 2 - By Katie

I went to the Smithsonian Castle. Then we went to The  of Natural History. Next we went to the Space and air Museum.  My favorite things to see was the Hope Diamond and the Dung Beetles. I felt so bad when I saw all the homeless people. I went on the Metro for the first time too.  I had astronaut ice cream.

Today I saw a mammoth and a dinasour. I saw a caveman and I saw a sabertooth tiger.

Day One

Day 1 - By Katie

I got to DC today. We landed at Baltimore Maryland. When I arrived we got our luggage. Then we went to a bus.We went to a train but it was 50 minutes late.  Wre arived at Union Station. We went to eat at Center Court in Union Station. Then we got into a taxi and went to where we are staying. It was my first cab. Did you know that there are 9,000 cabs in DC?!  There are 24 police departments.

I saw a chair that looked like a pie. I went in a cab it was my first cab in DC. I went to a train station.
